Faux Macrame Knitted Cowl Pattern

Macraknit Cowl with Fringe
Ascot, scarf, cowl, neck warmer:  no matter what you call it, it's the best cold-weather fashion accessory you could want!  First of all, with a traditional long, knitted scarf, you have those two long ends to flap around and get in the way.  Secondly, a cowl looks great whether peaking out from under your coat, or just worn over a sweater or top.

This cowl pattern features a richly textured stitch that resembles macrame.  The pattern is rated as Easy; you can even do it while you watch TV.  So now, there's no excuse to not whip up a few for gifts in their favorite colors, and to outfit yourself with a richly textured fashion accessory!  Find the pattern in my Craftsy shop (Busy Crow Studio); or at Etsy (Craftique Redux).

Knitted Scarf Pattern: Lacy Loops Knitted Scarf

This easy knitting pattern creates a lacy, openwork scarf resembling broomstick lace. The completed scarf using worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles is 5" wide. You can get an even lacier look with sport or sock yarn, and smaller needles. It's a quick and easy project that looks best with light or bright colors, and makes a nice gift.

Knit a Kitty Toes Scarf

The simple knitted lace pattern on this scarf resembles the cat footprints that you see on your car windshield every once in a while....that's how this knitted scarf got it's name! This is a fun knitting project that creates a 48" scarf.
