Carved Wooden Mermaid

I carved this wooden mermaid for a customer who wanted to use it as a topper for a walking stick, so her curves are designed to fit a hand nicely, and her arms are upraised to a flat space on top of her head (he had a nice polished cabochon stone he had planned to fasten there, so it was left flat).  However, he canceled the order and so now she is seeking her next new home, for whatever job she might get (even if it is just being cute on a shelf).  Find her at Craftique Redux:
