I start my bead embroidery by first outlining the accent beads that I have placed, with seed beads. This frames them and sets them apart from the rest of the beading. For the first outline in this photo, I started with the smallest seed beads (Tohos), and moved up to a larger size 11 seed bead for the second outline.
