Book Lovers, UNITE!

If you love books, and I mean not just reading...but actually looking at a cover or a title on a shelf, picking it off the shelf and just KNOWING you want to read that book, then you MUST join a book group on Facebook.  There are many, but what you want to look for is one with a good moderator, because even though they don't / can't really enforce any problem solving with a bad sale, they do act as the gatekeeper that keeps out rudeness, spammers, weak sellers (those who list and ignore your request to buy), and the like.  Just recently I made a purchase from an ad such as this:  "1,000 books at $1 each", and they provided a link of a catalog of photos of the books.  Minimum purchase was five books, but I found six to start with: a bird care book, two vintage detective stories (the type with those 'girl in distress' covers that are so cute), Diet for a Small Planet, the second book by Aldous Huxley, and another mystery.  But that seller had variety!  Vintage, semi-vintage, unique, and out of print type books that you didn't know you wanted until you saw them.  He ships his items with a tracking number at a reasonable Media Mail rate, too!  (oh, by the way the name of that book group on Facebook is: Books Buy/Sell/Swap)
